I had never read Mr. Kennedy's books until Infidels. I will be reading more purchasing my next one when I finish this review. I have over 750 books in my Kindle and have read over 500 of them. Most are this genre even though I am a female. This book was well written with a plot that keeps you from putting down the book. I am 63 years of age and wanted to join the military (to help protect our country) from a young lady. My dad was a Marine who taught me to love God, my country and family and be willing to protect them. Back in the 70's I would have had to be a secretary or nurse in the military so I decided to become a Police Officer for 24 1/2 years, 2 years as a Fire Fighter and 10 years as an Emergency Medical Tech on an ambulance. The only complaint I found in this book was that Maggie screamed and yelped when something happened. Never in 36 years of working did I squeaI. I will say that this book gave me food for thought on current problems we suffer around the world. I wish we could get our politicians to realize the potential anarchy if we don't change our ways.Product details

Just what you would expect of J Robert Kennedy. He has unleashed his Delta Force and it really a page turned. It has all the guys spread thin to take care of business while the world was in mob rule. What unfolds is so today it is Scarry. Don't miss this one!
Mr. Robert Kennedy continues to write stories that always compel me to read the entire storylines from start, to finish, over a period of time measured in a couple of hours and minutes, not whole days numbering 1,2...or more! Each one getting better as his story telling gets closer to being compared to the great adventure/military authors of our time!
I highly recommend the Acton, Delta, and Kane series. I haven't started the other two yet but I will once I've read each of the novels in the 3 series I previously mentioned.
Have fun enjoying all three series because they all tie in together for 3 similar but different perspectives of stories that could come from today's headlines!
Infidels is a great book filed with action, violence, suspense and a healthy dose of levity! Very well written except for a couple grammatical errors, which did not at all detract from the understanding and appreciation of the book. I highly appreciated the respectful way the author handled the issue of Muslim versus Christian religious idealism and extremism. And how he inserted light moments where the soldiers joked around with each another to manage the rising tension. Their jokes provided much needed opportunities to grin in the midst of such violent action. I can't wait to read another.
I love the way Kennedy weaves a story that makes the seemingly impossible possible. BD and the gang are on their own and at the mercy of a foreign government hell-bent on blaming them for the biggest theft in the history of the Muslim world. Disavowed, they rely on personal friends and colleagues to help stop the world from collapsing into an all out religious war. Action as only Delta can bring it on. Nice to see Acton and Laura in this one. As usual I couldn't put the book down once I started.
From the beginning to the end, I just couldn't stop reading. I've read every book in the James Acton series, all the Daryl Kane and Delta books but this is the one I love the most and read the fastest. Can't wait for more. Although the book gives you tidbits of how all the characters meet I strongly suggest you read the first James Acton book and follow the series. But if you start here I'm sure you'll go to the first book. Thanks for giving us a super read.
As Always, I couldn't put it down. J Robert Kennedy has become one of my favorite authors. From my very first read, The Protocol, I have read all the James Acton novels, in order, along with the Dylan Kane, (aka Kraft Dinner) spin off series.
In every James Acton thriller, we are treated to the comradery of Bravo Team, Delta. As much as I enjoy all the characters in these books, I must admit I have a special fondness for the men in the unit, (perhaps because of my military upbringing?) and am beyond delighted that a new series has started, taking us on the special ops adventures of, BD, Red, Atlas, Jimmy, Spock, Wings, and my favorite Master Sergeant, Niner.
After reading Payback and Infidels, the first two books in The Delta Force series, I am anxiously awaiting the third installment!!!!
I also love how the author revolves his plots around current events. Weaving a little fact into his fiction, keeping the story real enough to make the reader really think about what could happen, and often does in this crazy world we live in. While at the same time, realizing that it is fiction, and for the moment, the reader is safe from the threats in the book.......at least for now. All it takes is one Charlie Foxtrot, (my new favorite expression) to set the world on edge.

Kennedy is clearly an extremely talented author, his stories captivating & extraordinarily accurate. As a former member of the U.S. ARMY, thank you!! Spending time in the sandbox, taught me that extremists & peaceful follows are both very true.
You have written an unbelievably accurate & enjoyable thriller, which’s most definitely extremely difficult to put down (as my director would attest). Books 1 & 2 complete, I eagerly look forward to the remaining ones in the series.
